I have majorly been slacking on this updating of my life blog thing. Over Christmas I went to Boston to stay with Jon Brown's family a few days and Angela's family the rest. We ate really amazing food at Angela's aunts house and she gave me free wine they make in the basement! So rad. They have this awesome house right on the beach that seems so nice to be at during the summer time. New Years we dressed up and I went 80s ish. We thought we were going to this masquerade party so we did some face painting, but we ended up going to a party and dancing until 4:30! Tomorrow I am going to NYU to go walk around and buy my scrubs! It's getting official. I find out where my clinical is tomorrow which is exciting. Life is good.

I have been having such an amazing time here. Jon and Angela introduced me to some of their friends and I love them! I have been hanging with Jon's friend Katie and her cousin Monica and friend Eric for the past three days. We played in our first snow storm, drank beer at the Brooklyn Brewery, went to Rockafeller, the Plaza, and of course had delicious pizza. This month before school is just going to be so good. I am happy on this coast.

I am officially here. I am now a New Yorker, even if my uncle and friends still joke about me being a hippy Californian. My first day was hectic but the night ruled because I got to be with my Boston friends! Jon and Angela and I hung out at the International and then Judd and some other new friends joined. I love that the bars here are open until 4am! I ran into Alex Welsch at this dance night called Sway and I ran and screamed into his arms. I am so happy! I got a place in Williamsburgh and I will post pictures once my room is set up. It has an amazing balcony with plants and chairs to sit on and it's going to rule during the warmer months. Things are moving smoothly and I get to go to Boston for the second year in a row! I am bundled up and headed out. Yes. Yes. Yes.

I decided to make a blog because in 12 days I am embarking on the next big adventure of my life. In 12 days I am moving to New York and leaving California behind for awhile. I have lived my whole life in California. The best four years were spent in San Francisco riding bikes with friends and laying in Dolores park all day wasting away the hours. I have a feeling New York is going to be even better. I have some good people already there, and I am ready to make new friends, make new experiences, and become a nurse! I am ready to leap.
